Laura Linney is an American actor who became well-known for her portrayal of strong, yet vulnerable characters. Linney grew up in an actor's family, as her father Romulus Linney plays a writer. Linney attended Arts Theatre School at Moscow, then graduated with her M.F.A. from Juilliard School. located in New York City in 1990. The actress began performing on Broadway and was awarded awards for roles such as Six Degrees of Separation or Hedda Galer.
