Molly is an Pennsylvania native, who started acting professionally when she was thirteen years old in Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater, in The Snow Queen. The role she played was Little Red Ridinghood shortly after performing in Arden Theater s Into the Woods production for which she won an Barrymore Award nomination. She portrayed the role of Little Red Ridinghood in Into the Woods in Broadway aged fifteen and was awarded a Drama League Award nomination. Molly has also appeared in The Broadway production of Fiddler on the Roof in 2004. Then she attended Princeton University where she was an active member of the Triangle Club and graduated in 2008 with an B.A. In this period when she made her feature film debut in the Disney film College Road Trip in the role of Wendy Greenhut.
